Mr. Min B Gurung is a successful Nepali entrepreneur. He is the owner and managing director of Bhat-Bhateni Group which owns Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket and Department Store. He is a son of a farmer with six siblings. He had a successful banking career after completing his university education. He started Bhat-Bhateni cold store in 1984 with his wife and went full time in 1992 following an expansion to a two floor (3,000 sq. ft.) supermarket. It has since become two leading supermarket and departmental stores in Kathmandu (timeline of the company) serving more than 10,000 customers daily.He gave an interview to BBC Nepali Service in January 2010.
